The finance and accounting programme offered by the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University has been awarded two Certificates of Excellence in Education by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA).
Certificates from the Polish Accreditation Committee are awarded on the basis of a detailed programme evaluation, taking into account.
By decision of the PKA Presidium, the finance and accounting programme received certificates in two categories:
- Partner for Development – excellence in cooperation with the socio-economic environment;
- Open to the World – excellence in international cooperation.
In this year's edition, NCU is the only university in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province whose field of study received the Certificate of Excellence in Education. A total of 19 programmes were awarded nationwide. The distinctions confirm the high level of education, the adaptation of the programme to the requirements of the labour market and active cooperation with business institutions in Poland and abroad.
In the region, only two other programmes have received similar accreditations, apart from finance and accounting, including the cognitive science programme run by our University.
