Dear Future Students,
Before the beginning of the academic year, it is worth taking care of a few important matters:
- Setting up your university account
Every student at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń is required to have an account on the university server.
This account is necessary to use the USOSweb system, register for classes, submit the student oath, check grades and class schedules, and communicate with the University.
You can set up your account on the website of the NCU University IT Centre.
After entering the website, select the “Create an account” option and follow the instructions.
Newly admitted students can find their student ID number in the IRK system under Personal Forms → Education.
Your account will have the following format: student_ID_number@stud.umk.pl
- Registering for courses
Students of English-language studies are enrolled in classes by a responsible person from the dean’s office.

- Information about the student oath
The student oath will be available in the USOSweb system from 1 October. You have 7 days from the moment the document becomes available to sign it electronically.
Please note that you acquire student status upon signing the student oath. From that moment, you officially become a student and acquire the rights and obligations associated with student status.
