Professorial nomination

Three scientists from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, on February 13, 2019, took the professor's nominations from the President of the Republic of Poland. Among them was prof. dr hab. Aldona Glińska-Neweś, Associate Dean of our Faculty.

 

The ceremony took place on February 13 at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. In addition to professors from the Nicolaus Copernicus University, 53 academic teachers and researchers were nominated.

 

Professor dr hab. Aldona Glińska-Newes works at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, managing the Department of Organizational Behaviors and Marketing. Her research interests concern interpersonal relationships in management, as well as other areas of organizational behavior, including organizational culture, the importance of differences in national cultures in management, organizational civic behaviors and others. For years, she has been associated with the trend described as positive management, in which she implemented numerous national and international research projects. She is the author of many articles in major magazines, papers presented at national and international scientific conferences and chapters in monographs. Building positive relationships in management she is realizing with foreign partners through practice, among others in the role of the coordinator of international cooperation programs of the Faculty, and filling the function of Dean for International Relations in the term of 2016-2020. Privately, she loves good literature, cinema and long journeys.

 

Apart from prof. dr hab. A. Glińska-Neweś, professor's nominations from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń were granted to: prof. dr hab. Janusz Szulist from the Faculty of Theology and prof. dr hab. n. med. Rafał Czajkowski from the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
