Interest:
My current research interests focus on the broadly defined policy of sustainable, smart regional development. I am developing the theoretical concept of smart regions. I am also working on clarifying taxonomic methods for measuring the level of "intelligence" of a region in the process of its sustainable development. My secondary (or former) research interests include the issue of state financial dependence (international economic relations) and the economic determinants of access to firearms.
