Professor Yochanan Shachmurove from City College of New York visited our Faculty on January 11, 2023. It is the result of the deepening cooperation between the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and the New York university. Previously, representatives of both universities have participated in mutual study visits.
The first visit of a representative from City College of New York took place in May 2022 - Professor Matthew Nagler visited our Faculty as part of the Staff Week organized at that time. In June and September, employees from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun took internships at the New York university - first Aranka Ignasiak-Szulc, PhD Barbara Drygalska, MA and Mariusz Lewandowski, MA, and in September Prof. Magdalena Osińska, who was in the USA for a two-week research stay.
The cooperation between the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and City College of New York involves mutual exchange of experiences and implementation of research projects. Previously, in 2019, one of our Faculty's students was at the New York university as part of a student exchange.
